Measuring for the Correct Fit

Different brands of boardshorts can vary slightly in size so it is best to check the sizing stated for each individual item listed. Boardshorts sizes are generally in inches of the waist size. 1 inch = 2.54cm so if you wish to convert to centimeters multiply by 2.54.

For correct sizing measure around your waist using a cloth measuring tape, do not pull too tight, but firm enough for a comfortable fit. For Hip size - standing with your feet together measure at the top of your legs at the widest part. For inseam measurement - go from shorts that already fit you correctly and measure along the seam from the crotch to the hemline. The rise measurement is from the top part of the waistband to the crotch and the length is from the top of the waistband to the hem.
