THE SUN IS ALWAYS SHINING SOMEWHERE
Best Time To Visit Bali?
There are a number of factors to take into account when deciding the best time Bali or season to visit and these things will be different for all people depending on their interests and needs.
A surfer wanting to surf in a particular place will need to consider what season and winds are best for that place.
A person wanting hike up Mt Agung will need to plan a dry season trip as hiking in the mountains is not something to be done during a tropical downpour.
People looking for a cultural experience will need to investigate which events they want to see and when these events are held in Bali, whilst people just wanting to sun themselves at a resort need to think about what months will give them the best chance for their suntans and extended time for lazing around the pool.
Also if you are choosing your holiday around a particular resort and beach, it’s a good idea to think about the good months for this location.
For many places this is not a major issue however our main tip here is that for resort holidays on the west coast (e.g Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Berawa, Canggu, Jimbaran) avoid December-March as the beaches are often affected by onshore winds and litter. Its better during these months to stay on the East side at places like Nusa Dua, Tanjung Benoa and Sanur.
The average day time temperatures in Bali are around 28C-32C all year around. The only thing that changes is whether it’s the Dry Season which, with is drier heat, is generally more comfortable during the day or the wet season which has higher humidity and can be a little sticky from about 9.00am-5.00pm.
The wet season has many beautiful sunny days and you would be unlucky for rain to ruin your holiday as it tends to rain more often in the evenings and early mornings. The skies are usually clearer after rain in the wet season and for many people a tropical thunderstorm and downpour is quite an attraction, as well as being a welcome relief from the heat.
So with all these variables, if someone asks the best time Bali for their visit, there are a number of questions to ask oneself before deciding the best time Bali for your vacation.
